Garden City Legacy I

Please also see the above update.

The Garden City Lands Coalition is delighted that the Richmond Museum is featuring “Garden City—Richmond’s Agricultural Legacy” for the next four months. As the invitation states, “This exhibition explores Richmond’s agricultural industry, from its early days when settlers were first attracted to Richmond’s fertile soils the modern industry it is today.”

We are also delighted that we received invitations to the opening reception. The invitation appears below, but you don’t have to bring one to be welcome. It starts at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, in the Richmond Museum in the Cultural Centre. Be there if you can, but visit later too.

The first impression is that the undertaking strikes all the right chords. We look forward to visiting several times, and we will provide analytical articles later. In any case, the undertaking itself is commendable.
